operation pantry organization
It’s not uncommon to have a pantry full of opened miscellaneous foods with no organization whatsoever. In a short amount of time and with a few organizing products you can transform your pantry.
Step 1
Remove everything from your pantry so you can see what you have and start sorting. Separate items into the following four categories:
• Items you use every day
• Items you use less frequently
• Unopened items that can be donated to a food pantry
• Expired items to trash
Step 2
Now that your pantry is completely empty, take this opportunity to thoroughly clean it. If you need to purchase any organizing products this is the time to do it.

Step 3
Refilling your pantry in organized zones is the best way to ensure you don’t have to do another pantry overhaul in a couple of months. Be sure to keep only what you use.
Step 4
Label the different sections of the pantry so the whole family knows where everything goes.
Step 5
Stash a stepstool in the pantry, if you have room, or nearby to make reaching high shelves easy.
Step 6
Moving forward shop small. Don’t overload on bulk stuff. Only buy what you need.
